A Sense of Commitment and Accomplishment

As the Associate Producer of Iron Brides reality television, new to New Hampshire in March, 2009, I hold a sense of commitment and accomplishment, moreso than something missing from me……Do I miss the girls….yeah, but I know I can call, email, and arrange time with them at almost anytime!

I have gained ten new girlfriends……..a number of them aged to be my children   : )  ;  others my peers….and it feels “NICE!”  I have gotten to work with a great bunch of guys who are in the production field of filming and that was also a delight.

The Monday after the week-long taping of Iron Brides was BLEARY-EYED for probably ALL OF US!   It was hard to get back into the routine of everyday life.  We all have acclimated, I am certain….

Through the audition process of Season I-New Hampshire Iron Brides production, I was privy to 75+ brides to be who completed application processes.  It was then reduced to 10 (8 candidates and 2 alternates).  Working with Jeff, George, and a panel, the 10 women were selected.  It was not an easy task to choose only 10 out of +75, let me tell ya!

The auditions, skits, and beginning tapings saw the group beginning to bond together.  Next thing I new, the women were sharing email addresses and hooking up for lunches, etc…. it was GREAT!

The week-long experience, as they can tell you, was FILLED with excitement, suspense, and emotional times.  As the week progresses, I sensed the realization that everyone knew that it was a matter of days until the end was here.

I feel strongly that these women, the hosts, the crew, and production team as a whole, formed a “family” in bonding laughter, sharing jokes, using shoulders to cry and hold onto, and “just using the time and getting to know one another better.”

Iron Brides and those involved displayed a sense of commitment and major accomplishments in many, many areas.   Alot of personal growth, reflection, conversation, and good times occurred.

Season I Iron Brides – KUDOS to you!  You ARE the ORIGINAL!

Do I miss the women, as I said, sure, I do, however, we ARE all girls…and girls figure out a way to get together : )
