Iron Brides Blogging – Week 4 and counting…

Iron Brides blog readers and fans. Each week, the girls are given the choice of up to 5 questions to research and answer by posting their findings on their own blog pages. They are given the topics Monday, select one to research, and assignments are due 10 PM Friday evening.

The Iron Brides Blogging assignment for Week 4 is attached. This week there are only 4 topics, with 1 extra. Have fun with this : )

1. This is a 3-part question, however is fun and relatively easy…You are a sales representative for “The Organized Wedding” Software company and have to create a sales boost for public use. Remember to use the title of the software when you write. Going through The Organized Wedding CD on your own, provide a description of 8-10 aspects of this software tool that would make this CD a “must” for brides-to-be and their fiance’s in planning or organizing their wedding. Express 3-4 additional “unique” features that this software can provide, aside of wedding planning or organizing. Lastly, tell me as a user yourself, what you feel is most beneficial and/or constructive in this software program for both you and your fiance.

2. You have been working with Helen Dutton, life coach, for several weeks now. Express at least 5 of the positive effects that having a life coach can have on an individual (not specifying yourself….but “in general”). What could such a person do for someone, how could this person impact their personal lives or business affairs, etc. What negative impacts could there possibly be in having a life coach, if any? Lastly, what has been your own experience in working with a life coach?

3. You have had multiple experiences in a cake pastry shop. To help other brides-to-be, share what your experience has been in working with Jacques Fine European Pastry Shop in Suncook NH (you can share the cake tasting day, however, leave out the cake frosting day, okay?). Provide details of the cake and filling flavors….
Not mentioning ANY other pastry shop names, have you noticed any differences or similarities between shops? Seeing what they have on display for wedding cakes, etc., what or who would you recommend to other cake “shoppers?”

4. You have been given $6,500. to use for your wedding. Big question………..how best use this moola? Think about this. I want YOU to ask your fiance what HE would do with the $6,500 and write about it. THEN, I want YOU to say what YOU would do with the $6,500. and write about it. What were the similarities or differences?

An EXTRA – Share a holiday recipe (appetizer, entree, or dessert with the Readers of the Blogging World!

Have a great week, ladies!

Hey All YOU Iron Brides Fans – We Got One!

Iron Bride's first Wanna-be Bridal Posting on our You Tube Web page

Iron Bride

Sound like the phrase from “Ghostbusters”?   We Got One!   The Iron Brides posting at our You Tube web site www.youtube.com/ironbrides  received its FIRST, OFFICIAL Wanna-Be-Bride posting this evening….And NO, she is not green, nor is she covered in slime!   Her name is Katie Gerrish, from Rockland, ME, a Financial Planner, and fiance is a Lobsterman.  Way Cool!  Her audition appears very relaxed – a good audition piece for Iron Brides and a great FIRST EXAMPLE!  She’s not alone however…   There have been MANY Iron Brides questionnaires submitted by girls in NH, MA, and ME.   Our Iron Brides bridal contestants have been BUSILY working on compiling their bridal auditions for the You Tube/Iron Brides postings.   I have counseled a number of girls on steps needed, brainstorming ideas on what to say or do, and scheduling appointments to assist in the video tapings that will kick off the first weekend in October.  Okay people – lets check out the latest video posting to You Tube’s Iron Brides web page because this New Hampshire Reality TV Show is a happening thing and yes, We Got One!   Next?   How about 50, or 100!

Phone calls, emails, more emails….Oh My!

All I need is to picture Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz in quoting my Blog title  : )

By the way, the writer of the story, The Wizard of Oz,  Frank Baum, once lived in a town in upstate NY known as Chittenango, NY.  There is an annual Oz Fest held to commemorate the author, storyline, and characters.

Speaking of authors, storyline, and characters…………the overwhelming responses for auditions, video tapings, questions and inquiries about the new TV show, Iron Brides has been fabulous. EVEN on Sunday the phone has been ringing and emails – they are becoming hard to keep up with.  I have created folders for each entry we have listed on our Iron Brides web site……found at www.ironbrides.tv

I feel like Dorothy, walking down that yellow brick road, looking around me, wondering, thinking aloud -

not lions, tigers, and bears……..but phone calls, emails, more emails……Oh My!

Love it!
