Yeaaa!!! Julia is coming out to go to Madeleine’s and Jacques!!!

Julia is coming home to NH tomorrow evening…Yippee! We are going to go for some YUMMY cake tasting at Jacques Pastries on Saturday morning, followed by travel to Portsmouth, to work with wedding experts at Madeleine’s Daughter.

After having been to both Jacques and Madeleines Daughter, I told Julia that regardless of getting married in Lake George, NY, her cake and dress were coming from NH. Meeting both Liz (owner of Madeleine’s Daughter) and Natalie (Senior Consultant) in partnering as an exclusive sponsor of Wedding Gowns and apparel for the Iron Brides Production, I told Julia that what she experiences there with the girls will be like nothing she has ever been exposed to. Even with all of the formals and proms she’s attended – I guarantee the attention she gets from the representatives of Madeleines will surpass anything from her past formal shopping experiences. Another thanks to Madeleine’s Daughter for our joint venture…it is going to be GRAND!

And the cakes!! WOW, the cakes! I have been telling her and telling her, sending website links, and given her postcards picked up from Jacques, that the cakes displayed at their shop are “out of this world!” I told her that there are contemporary, traditional, special occasion, wedding cakes to die for, mini desserts, and candies….all made right there on the premises! I also told her that some of the designs have the colorations and “kick” per se, that you would see right out of a Dr. Seuss book…they are THAT VIBRANT!!!

Speaking of Jacques…..they have partnered with us as the exclusive Wedding Cake and Pastry sponsor for the Iron Brides Productions. Kudos to the ownership and staff at Jacques…this is going to be a great production! I cannot wait until Saturday to bring Julia over to see your displays…. PS: I’ve been watching my sweets because I want to get a sample of wedding cake….. As I have said in former blogs… I LOVE CAKE!

This promises to be an exciting weekend….PLUS, I will get to see Julia’s engagement ring….It’s hard to say that…”engagement”….yikes! Oh well, get used to it, Mom. I’m going to focus on the fun.
